Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Gutter Machine Operator to support our installation teams across the Indianapolis market.

Position Summary

The Gutter Machine Operator is responsible for the on-site fabrication of seamless gutters and plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and high-quality installations. This position is ideal for a candidate who has hands-on experience operating a gutter machine and understands proper gutter sizing, pitch, and fabrication standards.

While this role supports installation crews, the primary focus is machine operation, measurements, material handling, and production accuracy, rather than general labor.

Core Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain a seamless gutter machine on job sites
• Measure homes accurately to fabricate custom-length gutters
• Produce seamless aluminum gutter sections to specification
• Assist with loading, staging, and organizing materials for installation
• Inspect fabricated gutters for quality, consistency, and defects
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and adherence to job site safety standards
• Coordinate with installers to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a seamless gutter machine (required)
• Prior experience in gutter installation or exterior construction preferred
• Strong understanding of gutter sizing, fabrication, and material handling
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and handle aluminum coil materials
• Strong attention to detail and production accuracy
• Safety-conscious mindset; OSHA knowledge is a plus
