Job Summary:
The Project Manager oversees and manages all phases of construction projects from conception to completion. This role requires effective collaboration with construction professionals, clients, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and supervise construction projects from inception to completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and construction teams, ensuring open communication and alignment on goals.
- Interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and plans to ensure project feasibility and execution.
- Develop, manage, and update project budgets and schedules.
- Review and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for project needs.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of project proposals, clarifications, and value engineering options.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and proactively address risks and issues to maintain project integrity.
- Prepare and submit cost projections, project billings, and reports.
- Collaborate with architects, subcontractors, and construction crews to deliver quality results.
- Conduct on-site meetings with stakeholders to review project progress.
- Support quality control processes and oversee final project punch lists.
- Assist with marketing and business development efforts to grow client relationships.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise Project Engineers, ensuring tasks align with organizational goals.
- Handle interviewing, training, performance appraisals, and issue resolution in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of construction project management experience, or equivalent education and training.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Bluebeam. Knowledge of Viewpoint or AIA Construction Software preferred.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
- Ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee scheduling.
- Effective multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

- Ability to adapt to changes and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent use of computers, requiring close vision and depth perception.
- Occasional travel to project sites.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $65,000–$115,000 (commensurate with experience).
- Employment Type: Full-time.
