Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support our client’s project teams in delivering diverse and exciting construction projects. This role is perfect for someone ready to enhance their skills, gain valuable experience, and grow into a leadership position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers in overseeing project performance and milestones.
- Collaborate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
- Help prepare and maintain project budgets, schedules, and reports.
- Support the administration of contracts, change orders, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and maintain project documentation, including RFI logs, submittals, and progress reports.
- Promote and enforce job site safety and compliance with regulations.
- Attend and document project meetings, ensuring all action items are tracked and completed.
- Aid in staff training and development under the guidance of senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in construction or project coordination roles.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Sage 300, or similar tools.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Project.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam or Adobe for document management.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the company.
